About Me

My name is Inderdeep Jaswal and I have recently graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University.

I have mostly worked with Java and C but have also gained experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and C# during my summer internships at Soft System Solution and Millennium Management.

Software Engineer Intern at Millennium Management LLC

• Created custom web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Tableau Extensions API to allow for two-way communication in Tableau Dashboard for the first time
• Provided users the ability to extend contracts in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server by using the ASP.NET Core MVC framework to create an extension for sending SOAP requests to Oracle Applications Cloud
• Designed and made a web page for Millennium’s intranet detailing the services and products available for employees to use depending on their use case

Technology Intern at Soft System Solution

• Created multiple webpages by using HTML, CSS and a Bootstrap framework intended for clients to use as backend user interfaces for managing their websites and apps
• Used Kanban agile framework to design and write the content for restaurant websites to help attract a larger customer base and increase orders through an online ordering platform
• Created automated test suites using Selenium IDE to check if clients' websites were functioning properly

Assistant Store Manager at Lakeside Market

• Installed Cash Register Express POS Software, troubleshot any issues, and connected appropriate hardware to make the system perform correctly
• Managed stock and was responsible for ordering new products requested by customers and reordering items that were running low in stock

Treasurer of 3Diatrics

• Helped found 3Diatrics, a club about 3D printing toys for children at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital and teaching them about 3D printers
• Involved with raising funds for the club by crowdfunding and finding sponsors

• Helped administer first aid and emergency medical care at community events
